Trash the Dress with Glenn & Christie & Toni - 15th June 2008

We certainly had a huge weekend in Ballina with an early morning start to meet up with Glenn & Christie again for their Trash the Dress session with Toni. The difference this time is that we had Justine Holly & Scarlett with us. Justine had scoped out a couple of locations while she waited for us to finish at the wedding.
It was extremely windy to start with when Toni, Glenn, Christie and myself headed out onto the breaker rocks.
Once we headed for a more sheltered area, the weather was beautiful. Holly and Scarlett were absolutely loving the beach, so I handed my camera over to Justine so that I could play with the girls for a while. She doesn't often get the chance to photograph so of course she jumped at the chance.

Again thanks Glenn & Christie for letting our whole family tag along to your TTD session. We had an awesome time, you guys are champions! Oh and Thanks to you too Toni! We had a great weekend and alot of fun.

Glenn & Christie & Toni Snell 14th June 2008

last month I joined the fabulous Toni snell for a wedding in Northern NSW. Toni and I seem to really run a muck when we get together but I think that it rubs off on everyone as they have so much fun too. The wedding was held at a place called deux belettes and it was just so beautiful, I cant wait to go back again. The architecture was just amazing, Toni and I thought all of our photography dreams had came true..

One of the things that I am noticing is that all the photos of me at the end of the day, I look completely shagged. Well as long as we are having fun it is all worth it. Glenn and Christie were great and I would like to thank them for letting me tag along to their day. They had 2 photographers telling them what to do as Toni and I each had turns at photographing and they just went with the flow. What an awesome couple. Christie is even now a friend on my face book. so I must of done something right :)

Christina & Steves Greek Wedding 28th June 2008

I have been a little slack with my blog posting of late because we have been so busy trying to organise the new studio. It is starting to all come together now which is great.

I flew to Melbourne 2 weeks ago to photograph the wedding of Stephen and Christina, what an absolutely smoking hot couple. They were so much fun. They were married in one of the Greek orthodox churches, such a beautiful church. Greek weddings are fantastic, I just thrive on the family environment and the wonderful hospitality that the guys showed me when I was there. Everyone was so nice and we had such a blast taking some great photos.

We also did a same day slideshow at their reception which just went down a treat with lots of oohhhs and aaahhhs from the guests. This is something that is really popular at the moment and gives your guests a peek at the images taken during the day at the reception.
we have another couple of weddings to put on the blog so they will come up shortly, my apologies it is taking a few weeks at the moment.

Photos from our Vow Renewal

Some of you would remember that we renewed our vows at the begining of the month. We have been waiting patiently for Ian Wilkinson to send a handful of photos via email as he is on holidays in Italy (half his luck!)He was kind enough to send these through last week so here they are. When we get the rest from him, we will post some more.

It was definately weird for us to be in front of the camera instead of behind it. We had a great day and the weather ended up holding out for us, luckily. Ian had just switched all his gear from Canon to Nikon so we were his guinea pigs. The high ISO on the new Nikon is amazing, we were shooting on very dim light and the photos were still as sharp as a tac.

Anyway, we will definately post some more once we receive them.

Thao & Brett Engagement session 22nd June 2008

Busy weekend for us, just got back from photographing a wedding in Melbourne. Last Sunday I met with Thao & Brett for their Engagement Session at Manly, who bought their gorgeous daughter with them.

Lauren & Craig Engagement sesssion 13th June 2008

Even though the weather was less than ordinary last Friday, I headed out to meet up with Lauren and Craig for their engagement session. Turned out to be a beautiful afternoon for photos with the sky changing colours frequently. Lauren is another regular WCF poster (wedding central forum).

Aman and Shehnaz Engagement session 15th June 2008

It was a long weekend just gone as I headed to NSW with Toni Snell to shoot a wedding and then a Trash the Dress session on the Sunday also, more about that later.
I got back just in time to meet with Aman and Shehnaz for their Engagement session. They are getting Married in Coffs Harbour so we will be off to NSW again for another wedding.

Emma & Jackson's wedding with Matt 8th June 2008

Well its official, these two take the cake for the nicest people in the world, not to mention everyone involved in the day.

We (myself & Jade) met up with Jackson and the boys in the city at their hotel to kick start the day (with a few hair of the dogs), and after a few photos it was off to see Emma and crew.

The girls were all ready and in great spirit when we arrived so there was plenty of time to capture some images to warm things up. Emma is a natural in front of a camera, check out those eyes!!!

The rest of the day continued as it began with perfect weather plenty of laughs and more great company. The ceremony went off without a hitch and the sun continued to be gracious for our location shots.
